DAIRY HOUSE
Situated at Harvest Farm is our most recent cottage, Dairy House. It lies beyond Harvest House, set amongst its own private garden of shady oak, roses, camellias and rhododendrons. The House offers seclusion and luxury for up to 4 guests and has old time character with modern luxury and mountain views.
Dairy House welcomes you with an open plan living and dining-area with windows overlooking decades old rhodedendron & camellias. The living area is flooded with natural light and features a large olive green couch and lounge, lots of cushions, flat screen TV, dvd player & CD player. The living area has a split system & cosy wood heater.
Dairy House offers a choice of one or two enormous, beautifully detailed king size bedrooms (one available as a twin) with electric blankets & mohair throws. The large bathroom with spa bath has french windows overlooking the garden & pastures. Big white towels, handmade local soaps and a heated floor makes the bathroom a lovely retreat.
LOCAL PRODUCE AND YOUR
GOURMET KITCHEN
The fully equipped kitchen is central to the house & offers oven, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. White crockery, big saucepans, chopping boards, sharp knives, local olive oil & sea salt flakes are ready for cooking up a storm with the amazing local produce you can gather from farm gates, local markets and produce stores.
The house is readied for guests with masses of flowers from the garden, handmade local soap, coffee pod machine and Yarra Valley loose-leaf tea.
YARRA VALLEY
RELAXING
The kids will love spending exploring the garden, the little playground, collecting eggs for breakfast, feeding bread to the cows & discovering country space.
For the adults, the expansive decking is ideal for relaxing with a glass of chilled rose while grazing on charcuterie & cheeses picked up from the local produce store.
When the weather is fine there are countless places to secrete yourself; in a deckchair to take in the fresh air and mountain views, sit on the front verandah in the afternoon, dine on the outdoor deck at twilight. In winter, stoke up the wood fire and cosy up on the couch, or lie in front of the fire on the huge Persian cushions with a glass of red wine, the weekend papers, some jazz and watch the clouds roll over the mountains.
