This was our first time staying overnight in the Yarra Valley after multiple day trips from Melbourne, and we’ll definitely be back. We stayed in the Dairy House, which was beautifully appointed with comfortable beds, quality linen/towels/toiletries, fully equipped kitchen etc. The pictures are accurate to what you get.
Main highlights were collecting food from the veggie patch both for feeding the animals, as well as supplementing our dinner and breakfast. To accompany the take away delicious lasagne we bought from Kitchen & Butcher, we had roasted pumpkin and salad picked from the veggie patch (using the lovely olive oil and salt in the kitchen). The supplied breakfast hamper was also fabulous for the big country breakfast we cooked up the next morning (but buy your own juice before hand).
Plenty of board games provided for the kids, and while there is no wifi provided in the house itself, there was adequate coverage using our mobiles. Kids also loved the spa bath.
