The living area is open plan with French doors leading onto an expansive outdoor decking and BBQ area. A huge chocolate brown suede couch, games, glossy magazines, books, DVD’s, CD’s and a cosy wood fire complete the lounge. The house is readied for guests with masses of flowers from the garden, handmade local soap, fresh ground coffee and twining tea.
When the weather is fine there are countless places to secrete yourself; in a deckchair to take in the fresh air and mountain views, sit on the front veranda in the afternoon, dine on the outdoor deck at twilight. In winter, stoke up the wood fire and cosy up on the couch, or lie in front of the fire on the huge Persian cushions with a glass of red wine, the weekend papers, some jazz and watch the clouds roll over the mountains.
The kids will love spending time with the horses, climbing in the tree house, exploring the garden, the little playground, collecting eggs for breakfast, feeding bread to the cows & discovering country space.
Take it easy on your first morning at Harvest Farm with breakfast provisions of thick bacon, free range eggs, tomatoes, crusty bread, oranges, butter local jams and milk.
